Simon graduated from the University of Manchester
in economics and government. After completing the
Common Professional Examination and Solicitors Final
Examination course he qualified as a solicitor in
1994.
After specialising in family law initially following
qualification he has undertaken personal Injury
work for the last 10 years, almost exclusively on
behalf of Claimants. This previous experience includes
a 6 year period working for a niche trade union
practice in Manchester until March 2004.
He is an Associate in the POA team and undertakes
complex and frequently high value Personal Injury
and CICA claims, including a number of high profile
multi party actions against the Home Office.
Simon lives in West Kirby with his wife and two
young children. He is another Manchester United
fan in the POA team and has a season ticket at Old
Trafford. Other activities he enjoys in his spare
time include golf, walking and travelling.
