Mark was educated at the Liverpool Bluecoat School
(winning the R Powell Memorial Prize for English
Literature); Liverpool University (studying English
Literature); University of Wolverhampton (studying
law and winning the Martineau Johnson Prize for
Company, Commercial and Competition Law) and the
College of Law. Mark qualified as a solicitor in
2002 having trained with the firm.
Mark deals with the full spectrum of company and
commercial matters including business start ups
and restructures, the drafting of commercial agreements,
mergers and acquisitions/disposals. His specialist
areas include all aspects of intellectual property
and the “not for profit” sector where
he acts for a nationwide group of housing associations
and social businesses.
Residing in Liverpool with his wife and two young
daughters his interests include Liverpool FC, pub
quizzes, and an unhealthy addiction to progressive
rock music.
