Helen graduated from The University of Northampton
in Law, History and English in 1996. After completing
the Common Professional Examination and the Legal
Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester,
she trained at Franklins Solicitors in Northampton
becoming a Solicitor in September 2000.
Helen joined Lees Lloyd Whitely as an Associate
in July 2005 and works in the Family Law Team in
the Prenton Office.
Helen is an active member of Resolution (formerly
Solicitors Family Law Association) and she adheres
to their code of practice to act in a constructive,
non confrontational approach in family law matters.
Helen’s expertise covers all family matters
including divorce, financial matters, children issues,
and domestic violence and cohabitee disputes.
Helen is on the Board of Trustees at the Zero Centre
in Birkenhead which is the Wirral's only dedicated
domestic abuse drop in centre. They support abused
women, children and males under 18 and they run
programmes which help abused women and children.
On a personal note, Helen is married and has a 17
month old daughter named Emily who takes up most
of her spare time.
