Chris joined Lees Lloyd Whitley in 1998, as Personnel Manager bringing with him some 24 years of management experience, gained during a career in Retail, Training and Development and prior to 1998 some 8 years as a Management Consultant providing consultancy services to SME's. He specialised in Investors in People; Business Development and Management Development activities.

Chris obtained his professional Training, Business Development and IIP Advisor qualifications in 1988 and 1997 respectively.

Chris became HR Director in 2004.

Chris is married to Fiona who also works as Administration Team Leader in the Personal Injury Department, and has two sons. His hobbies and interests include gardening, historical buildings (being a member of the National Trust) and collecting porcelain
