Glenys promoted to partner at Lees Lloyd Whitley

Associate solicitor Glenys Hunt, a personal injury and clinical negligence specialist, has been promoted to partner by North West firm Lees Lloyd Whitley.

Glenys began her professional career in the NHS, as a medical laboratory scientific officer specialising in haematology and blood transfusion.  In 1988 she left the NHS to study law, and qualified as a solicitor in 1994 with Liverpool and St Helens firm J Keith Park.

After three years with North East firm Smith & Graham, Glenys was recruited to head the personal injury and clinical negligence team at Lees Lloyd Whitley.  She acts mainly for claimants on a wide range of accident, disease and negligence cases.

Glenys is chairwoman of the Merseyside, Chester and North Wales Association of Women Solicitors and a trustee of West Kirby Citizens Advice Bureau.  Her promotion brings the number of partners at Lees Lloyd Whitley to eleven.

Welcoming Glenys to the partnership, managing partner Graham Smith said:  “Thanks to her hard work and commitment, our personal injury team has built an excellent reputation for client service and professionalism.  The firm is very pleased to recognise Glenys’s achievements through this well-deserved promotion.”
